'Taco truck's last stand'

A Hispanic man's struggle to realize his dream in a post-Katrina Louisiana.

I enjoyed this story for the St. Petersburg Times, but maybe it's because I'm Mexican. ;)

I thought the ending was nice, too.

Wow. Did you guys read the comments some people wrote at the bottom of the story? I'm ashamed to live in the same country as people like that.

I would totally eat a taco from the taco truck. There is a similar one in the hood, usually parked along Market Street during the day. I wonder if s/he has a good story. Finding out may require a body guard, but could be worth it.
